Post-it Note Workshop

ABOUT US

Lead with Purpose. Transform Communities.

We envision a world where communities design and lead practical, transformative solutions to society’s greatest challenges, from poverty and inequality to climate change and healthcare access.

Our Mission

We partner with communities to co-design and deliver innovative solutions that build power, resilience, and connection, enabling people to create lasting change in their own lives, in their local systems, and across society.

Our Approach

We work at three interconnected levels:

Direct advice, casework, and practical intervention for people facing crisis housing, debt, employment, immigration, welfare rights. We resolve problems, not just identify them.

Working alongside communities and organisations to design programmes, build skills, and develop local solutions that reflect what people actually need not what we assume they need.

Using insights from frontline experience to influence policy, practice, and social innovation locally, nationally, and internationally. Our peer-reviewed research and European partnerships turn delivery evidence into systemic change.

Our Core Values

We’re focused on changing systems, but we’re grounded in the values we share with our communities and supporters.

We believe innovation thrives when people come together. We embrace diversity, co-creation, and the power of working across boundaries.

We set high aspirations and pursue them with courage. We’re not afraid to challenge the status quo or think big for a better future.

We amplify the voices and leadership of those often excluded. Our work centres on increasing people’s access to opportunity.

We nurture the growth and potential of every individual and every community, creating pathways for long-term progress and dignity.

We believe in learning by doing. Our strategies are grounded in data, feedback, and shared experience, so we can respond to real needs, not assumptions.

We treat everyone with kindness, compassion, and dignity. Equality, fairness, and shared humanity are at the core of how we work.

Our Principles

These are the essential conditions we believe every person and community needs to thrive:

  • Food, shelter and safety
  • Inclusion and dignity
  • Purpose and opportunity
  • Good health and access to Universal Health Coverage
  • Community development
  • Get Involved

Whether you need support, want to collaborate on a programme, or are interested in funding our work, we'd love to hear from you.
